SUMMER SUSTAINABLE DESIGN STUDENT
Created floorplans for homes that had to be net zero ready due to the new BC Energy Step Code that is being implemented that states all new homes have to be net zero energy ready by 2032. During the summer, concepts on how to reduce residential buildings building footprint were brought up. Learning how to reduce a buildings footprint so young in my career will place strong roots in the ground that as I progress through my career will incorporate those roots in future projects. And in twenty years when I have the opportunity to mentor young individuals can give them the roots to help with the ongoing environmental fight.
