TCC Pool Renovation

Was brought on a field trip to examine the upgrades and systems that were being installed at the TCC pool in Kamloops. The guide showed and explained how these upgrades would reduce its carbon footprint that the pool produces. These upgrades are important because the pool uses a massive amount of energy to heat the pool water and to regulate the temperature in the building. Simple upgrades such as a heat retraction system that removes the water as it goes thru the filtering system to warm help warm up the fresh water prior to entering the pool significantly reduces the energy use for the pool building.
